The TechWeek Event was a 2 day event held on the 1st and 5th of December 2018 at the iHub in Nairobi. The event was co-organized by individuals from the Fireside Group, Seacom and the Internet Society and attracted 70 participants. Below is a brief summary of the event. *About TechWeek* TechWeek aims to provide a platform for experienced engineers in the fields of Network Integration, Network Engineering, Internet and Cloud Services to share their knowledge, challenges and ideas with their peers and also with upcoming engineers who may wish to pursue similar career paths. The event was split into two days: a Bootcamp Day and a Conference Day which were both held at the iHub. The Bootcamp covered introductory topics on areas such as routing, network integration, cloud and Internet services. The Conference day consisted of similar topics but covered at a higher level.
