Hosting an MS Access 2010 and 2003 Payroll system
Hello Skunks, I trust you are well. My client wants to host the system with the specs as shown above. He wants the system to be accesed remotely by various personnel in his company. @Pithon, Maybe you need to be more clear. Is the payroll both in Access 2010 and Access 2003 and your users just use what the prefer, assuming you can interlink the tables in both? Or is it the database that is Access 2010 and then the App is 2003? But then that will not make sense because Access is both the database and App in one. Or is the database in Access 2013 and the application in another platform? Plus how do you want it hosted? You know Access can't be hosted with the kind of traditional hosting used for web applications? Do you want a dedicated server you can access by remote access anytime running the application? Or are you looking at SharePoint? SharePoint 2013 now can host Access Apps, but they can't be Access 2010 or 2003, must be ported to the SharePoint for Office 365 Access.
