This will not come quite easy. Android means much for Samsung, google services are hard to replicate, and if Google locks you out you have to be really ready. That's why Samsung has been working on Tizen for over a year, and will only announce a device in Q3 of this year. One, and it will be high end. They are either just showing Google that they can, or are making sure the device they release passes the test of time, including the software test. Developers had access to dev devices more than 8 months ago. So Samsung is avoiding a Nokia situation when they are doing the change-over. But they are known to run on multiple OS-es, so this really means nothing.. Ubuntu will be a niche OS for sometime to come. And I think Apple is the king of content and not Google. Google is getting there, but Apple was always miles ahead of them. And there is reason all App Store revenues (70%) go to Apple. At the risk of being lynched, I will say that if iPhone is to go down it will be because of the users, not Apple. While everyone else is pushing for new and 'out-of-the-box' features from the other vendors, apple fan(atic)s are making excuses and defending it based on some incredible feat they achieved some eons ago.
