Cikz, It CANNOT be the VGA card, because you are able to use that with the external display. It MUST be the backlights for the LCD display or something closer to that. You may require a replacement screen. Try talking to Kishore on 0722 835 222 if you want to consider a screen replacement. Other folks in this list perhaps know someone who can repair and will suggest. I personally want to know if there is such a person locally.
