Funny thing about *Google chrome* is that if you go to the address bar and type *chrome://settings/passwords* it will bring a list of accounts that are saved on the browser and when you go to the password section and click show....It'll actually show the password for the particular account. I think people in this list do not either understand the flaw or are just too damn lazy to read more about it. This flaw is specific to chrome and you cannot say that other browsers have the same flaw yet other browsers have a master password to access these passwords, so NO, other browsers DO NOT have the same flaw ./Ok3ch On Wed, Aug 21, 2013 at 7:11 PM, Kivuva <Kivuva@transworldafrica.com> wrote:

Pretty sure on Chrome, or Firefox, or IE you have the option to NOT SAVE passwords. Saving passwords via the browser option is a security risk the user takes up voluntarily. Besides, if and when you do change it but can't remember, wouldn't you rather know it than go through the whole 'Forgot Password' routine? Two cents....... methinks it is more of a fail than it is a flaw. on the one hand the user always has the option of saving passwords or not, on the other is a feeling that it is not adequately "stored" in all cases there are ways to reveal the very same passwords we are trying to hide. its likely that google having reviewed the requirement they might have thought its not needed and did away with hiding it On Thu, Aug 22, 2013 at 1:44 PM, James Wanjau <bkwanjau@gmail.com> wrote:
