whats the grief washinton?the feedback am getting from those using it is that the thing is even stronger than the Ubiquiti Nanostation 2. better yet it communicates well with ubiquiti nano2 just in case u already set up a network using it. As a user I would like to say that Tp-link is quite good but you have to be very careful with the quality of the cable you use. Not all cat6 cables in the market work well with it. Use quality cable and you have very good results. It performs better than the nanostation 2 in terms of output power. On Fri, Jul 8, 2011 at 1:42 PM, Yast Labs <yastlabs@gmail.com> wrote:

-- Thiong'o Muriuki,

I have been trying for the last two days to setup TL-WA5210G as a Repeater. It's been hell all through, until I was forced to change my Wireless Security to WEP. I also had to fix channels on the Root AP and the TP-Link. Kennedy, can you please tell me if Nano2 can "Repeat" when the root AP uses WPA2-PSK (AES or TKIP)? Wash, In your case it is easier to use nano2. Setup main AP to APWDS and put it on bridge mode. Similarly set the other nano to APwds. Copy the Wlan mac address of one AP on the other AP and vice versa when it asks you for WDs peers. Your security should work seamlessy and both will act as AP's. Hope this helps. @Davis, Thank you for this advise. For now, I will use the TP-Link with WEP. Do you know if Nano M2 can do the same? I intend to use them in a similar setup, but I want to use M2 because I want to attach cameras on the extra Ethernet port they provide. Yes it will work. The beauty with the nanos is that once they are in bridge mode and you do a traceroute from one client to the other through the repeaters, they do not exist as a hop. your network will be just like having two clients on one switch. So all the ports are bridged to your existing network. On Fri, Jul 8, 2011 at 2:33 PM, Odhiambo Washington <odhiambo@gmail.com>wrote:
