If u buy, say, from Elite, and the iPad suffers from a defect eligible under the warranty, then you can just return it to them and they can: a. Repair the device, b. Replace the device or c. @Peter, At 50K, I am not sure we are talking iPad 3 64GB WiFi + 4G. Even Apple does not sell them for that. It is probably the entry level iPad 3 16GB WiFi. Talking of warranties, it is very rare to have Apple products just fail. Most damage is almost always physical, like screen cracking. Meaning you will not get repaired under warrant. Rule of thumb is buy it from the most cheapest genuine source. These iDevices can never be imitated.
