The product you're looking for is the Ubiquiti NanoStationM2. For a good Ubiquiti distributor in Nairobi, try http://www.simplifinetworks.com/about.html Good luck! On Mon, Jan 12, 2015 at 1:58 PM, Collins Areba via skunkworks < skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke> wrote:

Hi All,What network switch (16 port) would you recommend for a TV studio. Must be on 24/7 should not be those types that go nuts now and then and you have to restart them. Morris. M.

Whichever the switch is recommended (or you chose) it is important that its able to handle large files (video clips probably in HD) with minimal delays.I am imagining that you need to share video footage from different depts - Newsroom>edit suite>control/transmission room, etc. I had a not very good experience in some TV station in UG using 1G and 10/100MB switches. Probably a 10G capable switch? My few cents. Jeff On Thu, May 21, 2015 at 5:55 AM, Morris via skunkworks < skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke> wrote:
