@Kuria, saw your advert yesterday about paying for opinions but know you will not get far on responses etc. Over the years, I think ume jaribu sana and suggest a project which will build on your web skills/ideas and also provide technologists with an avenue for commerce. If you ask me why I've not done this as have known for many years, as usual am too swamped with other stuff. - You can create a tech resource portal which will contain : a) Create a Main Page that technologists to log on and become members b) Create a ticketing system that a technologist can use to log the queries, billing below is based on per ticket raised by a query c) Create an mpesa based payment system, as based e.g on this : - Show me how to use google ( 101 ) = Ksh 500/- ( remember why authors who wrote books like "an idiots guide to anything" and made their bookstore empires? ) - I know how to use Google but cannot find what am looking for = Ksh 1000/- - I know the answer but need further advice = Ksh 2500/- - You sort it out for me = Ksh 5000/- ( as a deposit, then bal on completion. ) Obviously there are many details to go over, but the above is a skeleton. d) Have a page for member technologists to do write their thots, and even some discussions. e) On the same ticketing system, have a complaints so that no one feels deceived and can air their complaints which will be directed to the technologist who handled the query ticket.
