The charges are friendly across board at the moment. May be a difference of 500/- or so, but customers wouldn't mind as long as the speeds are decent for their daily operations and affordable according to their budget. For smaller budgets I have noticed Sfc is getting a foothold, same for high end budgets. AK is getting entrenched in the high and middle, same to swift. Telkom is stuck in the low end market (Livebox) and the government.
Answers your question Watson, remember I can't even mention Airtel anywhere.
Airtel need to get serious so that people don't feel Safaricom (not again) is robbing them. May be this time, they will only manage to bring down AK, Swift Global and the other smaller players. Safaricom is getting entrenched at the bottom of the pyramid and this may well spell doom for any internet Airtel may be planning to sell on the launch of their 3/4G.
