Brother Colour Laser Printer.

Hello, I'm looking for an authorized Brother printer dealer. I'm particularly interested in the Brother HL-4070CDW Colour Laser printer, which I have found has remarkably good web ratings, all factors considered. I need assurance that toner cartridges are readily available. Anyone? -- Ngũgĩ Kĩmani Fundi wa Mitambo

Some things cannot be done even when one contacts customer care. If the message was sent to your pal's phone s/he can tell the sender to do it again, well, unless your pal wants to sue the sender and the only evidence is the text! On 08/01/2010, Dennis Kioko <dmbuvi@gmail.com> wrote:

Hmmm. Interesting. The "SMS system" is some kind of a message store. It mainly stores the messages from the *sender* who is a subsciber on the network on which the "SMS system" belongs. ie Yu stores the messages from senders on Yu irrespective of which network the messages are being sent to. That said, u'll have to really justify why you need the already delivered messages to be retrieved for you. So Humphrey where does your pal's application come in? It would be magical to achieve anything from the scenarios below: 1. Message sent from Orange to Safaricom (Safcom subscriber is the receiver) 2. Message sent from Yu to Zain (Safcom is not involved) You assumed (maybe justifiably so), that the affected person is on Safaricom :)

messages sent or received by you, the "Network subscriber" have to go through your Network. and thats where his application sits P.S for 500/= you can get a print out of all incoming and outgoing calls you got/made for the last three months(Assuming you are a safaricom subscriber). Extending such a system to handle sms should not be a difficult task for the average programmer/analyst. On Mon, Jan 11, 2010 at 9:53 PM, Tony Likhanga <tlikhanga@gmail.com> wrote:

Some operators seem to delete messages in their system after 24 hours, or why do messages that are more than 24 hours old never get delivered? -- with Regards: Why you should not mind your own business, Find out at: http://gramware.blogspot.com

@Dennis The SMSC (Short Message Service Center) is a store and forward server for messages. What operators do is they will store a message for delivery for a given period of time (Configurable) depending on their storage capacity eg 24,36,72 hours. The other mechanism that operator uses is the delivery attempt whereby the SMSC tries to deliver an SMS for x number of times e.g. tries 5 times the first one hour , tries 3 times the next 2 hours , and after the maximum delivery attempts is attained the message is purged. This is used during high season like Xmas/New year when the traffic is exceptionally high. Once a message is purged from the SMSC a CDR (Call Detail Record) is automatically generated. The CDR has alot of info inclusing A number , B Number , Date and Time , Message Body (Encrypted) etc. The operators will keep the CDRs for as long as they want (Secondary storage). From the CDR the operator can decrypt the message body and that's it!!. BR Joram On Tue, Jan 12, 2010 at 1:00 PM, Dennis Kioko <dmbuvi@gmail.com> wrote:
