Does anyone know how to change the code for a perl module that has already been installed? i.e. without uninstalling, modifying and installing again? -- Thanks and Regards, Erick Njenga Nyachwaya, M: +254-725-008-790 <http://www.facebook.com/ErickNjenga> <http://www.twitter.com/ErickNjenga>

I think you can "include" routines that override what is in the installed module. Otherwise I wonder what you meant by "change", because change means exactly that - change:-) -- Best regards, Odhiambo WASHINGTON, Nairobi,KE +254733744121/+254722743223 _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ "If you have nothing good to say about someone, just shut up!." -- Lucky Dube

We should start a Perl Mongers group! Just a thought.

Count me in if u decide to create one. What are your thoughts on Perl vs Python? On Tue, Oct 12, 2010 at 8:21 PM, Patrick Kariuki <patrick.kariuki@gmail.com>wrote:

Like most Perl Mongers, I've never developed an interest in Python.. Try working on SQL-Ledger or managing your iptables with Perl and Python remains a reptile :-) On 10/12/10, Erick Njenga <eriknjenga@gmail.com> wrote:

Having had to make this http://www.issociate.de/board/goto/970231/Useless_use_of_a_constant_in_void_... then this http://code.google.com/p/tims-octopus/source/browse/trunk/octopus.py coz we just had to have good sounding tunes, I found Python much more fun to work with, and a breeze to maintain.
