Your thoughts on the Adobe AIR platform

Hi guys, I (and perhaps most of us) have been using adobe air applications - mostly twitter clients. I just recently visited the *Adobe AIR Marketplace* (type the three words in your firefox awesomebar to get there) and I saw very cool apps, some of which I have installed on my computer. While trying out the apps, I couldn't help but wonder what the future of adobe air is like... I mean it appears as though people have turned a blind eye to the capabilities that Adobe AIR has - or is it that I have been living behind a rock? I haven't been keen on Adobe AIR anyway till I visited the marketplace page. One app that particularly got me impressed is the New York Times Reader. For a moment, I felt like I owned an iPad or one of those expensive gadgets that the likes of Apple build while I tinkered with the application. If you are engaged in application development using the Adobe AIR platform (or you just happen to know a stuff about it), care to share your thoughts on what you think of the platform's future? Yours digitally ;) Me.

Just fished this out from my "Sent Mail". No one on the list has anything to say on Adobe AIR???? Like seriously??? On 17 August 2010 22:24, Simon Mbuthia <simon.mbuthia@gmail.com> wrote:

No issue at all Rahim. Just that I tend to feel that it doesn's seem to get the attention that it deserves, given it's capabilities. Looks like we also don't have many skunktoids using it for development. Me On 30/08/2010, Watchman <skunkingrahim@gmail.com> wrote:
