Have spent a lot of time today trying to connect to a Bluetooth device via the Bluetooth serial COM ports. I think I have isolated the problem and it seems it is because windows 7 always insists on imputing something in the Bluetooth pass code prompt. There is no option for a blank pass code. whenever the software attempts a connection, the bluetooth prompt comes up and insists on getting input. the usual 0000 or 1234 etc dont work. The device's (Its a geodetic GPS unit) documentation says the pass code is blank (in its syntax it denotes it as -1 but this also doesn't work) Anyone know a way of going round this? -- Regards, Mark Mwangi markmwangi.me.ke
