implementing an ISP
Hi guys, a pal of mine wants to setup an ISP in a location for about 200users. Is there an open source billing and badwidth manager that can comfortably manage this setup?the network will be mainly cabled with afew hotspots. Your help will be highly appreciated. @Michael, for commercial implementation use hostspots use a captive portal ( http://www.hotspotexpress.in/service_delivery/overview.html ) and manage bandwidth allocation pools , this one includes billing too. There are also hardware that do this, something from level one. HTHs.

You may also want to take a look at FreeSide<http://www.freeside.biz/freeside/> but it's not so well documented so you must be prepared to read between the lines and use common sense in some cases.
