But again, is the problem lack of drones or the structure and mode of operation of our security forces? You can throw as much technology but as long as there's incompetency, nothing much will change. Lamu has been under attack for a month but doesn't even get half the attention given to SabaSaba. By now, crack regiments of GSU should be on standby in Lamu, but business there is as usual. Also - these guys had to cross the border, which we claim to have secured from inside Somalia?
Or maybe it was "stopped" but secretly continued cos the Media would be all over it spilling the beans and broadcasting interviews - surveillance shouldn't be public knowledge ....
