I'm not sure how far this project and govt initiative is, since I first read about it in the other list just yeseterday nor know how far it has gone but read that such a system was demo'ed recently. If true, first a big congrats to Safaricom. For Mobile Developers, I believe you should already know that such a project presents unique oppurtunities for everyone. It is not limited to just one kind of application, but many diverse apps and since there is room for everyone to create their own unique app to suite different ways that mHeatlh would work on, the sky is the limit on this one in-terms of app development. I hope we can get some encouraging inputs or words from those who know are in the process of developing in/with Safaricom or within the Govt initiatives.
