Over WAN level would be quite tricky in Kenya. You know what I mean, right? Blackouts -- unreliability. Again, I must say I am not too familiar with Powerline over WAN. -- Best regards, Odhiambo WASHINGTON, Nairobi,KE +254733744121/+254722743223 _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ I can't hear you -- I'm using the scrambler. Zuku r just using the infrastructure to lay their network which is hard wired all the way NOT power LAN or WAN. It is possible to have power LAN setup by using broadband over power line gateway modem at the consumer level of the building and having a broadband over power line adaptor at the client level which works well but depending on the stability and reliability of power at the customers premise. Over WAN its complicated in Kenya as there will be need to get into contract with KPLC so that you can use their lines as the backbone and setup gateways at the transfomer level . OR intergrate to fiber Tx and recier via media conversation and back to BPL . Its posible but complicated in Kenya. On Jul 2, 2011 9:10 AM, "Odhiambo Washington" <odhiambo@gmail.com> wrote:
