JUST A CONCERN TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

I always wonder why when someone writes to this list looking for a software solution we(many of us) are quickly pointing them to some open source solution. I think the first solution should come from the developers within the list. By now we should be knowing who and what solutions can be offered by guys within here... Just thinking.

1. Open source solutions still need local devs to implement and maintain, or don't they? 2. Where are these solutions and the devs you speak of, why don't they respond? On Tuesday, 29 April 2014, Sam Nzau <sampishabby@gmail.com> wrote:

I also think Opensource is a solution that may require customisation and while you idea is valid it should be remembered that an open questions receives diverse answers on which the owner can narrow down, in other occasions the questions are actually asked by developers who have no interest in developing what is already developed or have no time to develop for that specific need or looking a solution for client that has low budget or less time. May we need to time this threads and blind the attention of prospects to our interests but again when free and price meet= coins sink in water, but not all coins are made of metal.
