Safaricom triple play

Not that it wasn't expected but looks like safaricom is planning to get into TV content business. Guess it's time for AccessKenya, Zuku, KDN and even DSTN to curl up to a corner and think competitive posture. When the Queen bee is on the rampage no one is safe. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-11-13/safaricom-ceo-says-company-to-diver... It only gets better. Kiania D.

AK was acquired by DiData and they are only interested in the enterprise space. As you can see from another thread, Safcom may be a master of all, but almost a master of none when it comes to customer service. On Thursday, 14 November 2013, David Kiania | Asentric Consulting Ltd wrote:

Its good if they jump into the triple play provider pool. A larger number of providers trying to upstage each other = better the quality & choice for the rest of us. It will also be good to have affordable VOD on Mobile. :) _______________________________________________ *“make things as simple as possible but not simpler”* _______________________________________________ 2013/11/15 Tusker 21 <tusker212@gmail.com>

Dennis, Large enterprises use Safaricom either for enterprise voice solution to MPESA, how hard a task do you think it'll be to convert them once the SFC fiber is up and running. Trust me compared to all the other ISPs, Safaricom is better. Check in this mail complaints against Wananchi/Zuku, KDN and AK. Also don't forget one of Didata's client is Safaricom on the integration side. If you run any business, they are coming after you :-) My 2 cents On Fri, Nov 15, 2013 at 3:51 AM, Dennis Kioko <dmbuvi@gmail.com> wrote:
