...they might be illegal, but for now I am willing to take anything...

I have also been having some very bad experience with Orange (Livebox) for the last couple of weeks. The speed has become extremely slow and I have to keep switching the box on and off after every 5 minutes...I am now looking for an alternative...I am in the CBD...East side of Tom Mboya street (where real hustlers reside). Anyway...One Wariah from Eastleigh told me that there are some providers there with very fast and very cheap WiMax solutions and that these "providers" have covered most of Nairobi...however he could not give me any names of any of these providers...so I guess they might be illegal, but for now I am willing to take anything...Can someone on the list give me some names? Timo.

It's not possible to be illegal, unless there is a way to erect a BS without being known! I believe WiMAX relies on BS and CLOS, no? So go for it. Nothing sounds illegal here, unless Kenya has become Somalia -- which it will become soon anyway, so it wouldn't be illegal afterall. -- Best regards, Odhiambo WASHINGTON, Nairobi,KE +254733744121/+254722743223 _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ I can't hear you -- I'm using the scrambler.
