Consider chatting in yahoo, msn, aol, gtalk from pidgin, you may want one application for all your chat requirements including fb, while also needing the option of not logging in to the fb website... for some reason. variety is always good. Pidgin is good, yeah! BUT!! There are other applications that let you log in into most if not all of the websites you use and bring to your desktop what the website offers, Say www.*digsby*.com <http://www.digsby.com/> , it allows you to login ito facebook, chat , receive notifications and status updates, also when you receive a new mail on gmail and yahoo ....which you can still chat on... Digsby gives you a notification and you may choose to open that mail only. Pros! Free, Better usage of resources, Fast Maina
