You may be referring to something else.... This has nothing to do with the OS you are using (unless the VPN access software used is not supported). All that is involved is : - A wifi/LAN/mobile network with open target ports (TCP, UDP, ICMP, DNS et al) to latch onto. - The VPN software from whoever is peddling the 'Internet Access' Just to confirm, I've successfully toyed around with Wi-free and PD-Proxy on Windows8.
