You are in a tricky position. Korean currency is now very widely accepted. On the brighter side, heard direct flights to Korea will soon start. So maybe we will have them being accepted at the exchange bureaus. Or hook up with anyone working for the airlines or going there and send them the cash to use there in exchange for cold hard KES.

But Wait! That amount is slightly above 500/=. Is it worth the trouble I foresee? If you are facing North; that's over 4K! Tidy sum huh! But then, with the isolation accorded to Pyongyang, you only stand an ice-cream-in-hell chance to get that loot converted locally. You'll probably have to explore some Chinese connection with this.
