These kind of phones are bound to make life hard to Samsung and the other big brands as they will push the price down petty fast. The compromise is in the 1 GB RAM, however that usually becomes an issue when you venture into custom ROMs, which I doubt these phones have. They don't have much of a dev community around them. Huawei is even worse in RAM matters.
