Dear All, We are looking for a digital water meter that can be programmed to allow for customers to pay for water consumption up front by feeding in units (similar to charging a mobile phone with air time credits) and the meter stops supplying water once the units are all consumed or reading ‘0’. Once a payment is made, a code is generated from the DB which is keyed into the meter and the meter should be able to verify the code from the remote DB. Hi Zack, After working on prepaid metering solutions for a while now, I feel your request may have oversimplified the complex nature of token vending platforms. Is this for mere research or implementation? If its for implementation purposes, please do extensive research as a single mistake in the roll-out will forever cost you lots of money and time to fix. Also remember the last place you want to get advise from is from a vendor of such solutions for you will end up in a vendor locked safe custody box! Moses.
