Hey guys, Sorry for opening a new thread but i could not seem to find the previous mails regarding 20ft and 40ft containers. Someone on the list mentioned they are meeting with a supplier/dealer and would share further information. Has anyone got any idea of the prices yet? Have a great day! There are actually several sizex. the standard cube is 8ft by 8ft, then there is the high cube of which there are two, 9.6 and 10.6, the latter of which is an excellent component for building container houses. length are standard at 20 feet and 40 feet. Demand locally has been exeggerated with everyone opening up an mpesa stall, clothes boutique or those shops in Mada on your way to strath. Currently they are going for about 170k to 250k for the 40 foot high cube. depending on what you need it for, you can get insulated, refridgerated or even stainless steel for that extra buck. Just be keen on the wooden floor and be sure it was treated with human friendly pesticides if you intend to convert it into a home.
