Monitor SIM based data terminals

Hi Skunks, Is there a way to monitor sim based data terminals remotely i.e. to check whether the terminal is on (active) ? The terminal is a POS device that connects to a backend server via GPRS. regards, Brian

Brian, There is a way considering the vast applications that one can use on the back end server. Currently some pos resellers can give the remote monitoring service at a cost. If the pos is on and connected via gsm or gprs you must have away out. Let me get further details and l will give you a way forward if none will have come by. James - ISL.
