Hi, Has anyone managed to install the Orange EVDO on a Mac OSX leopard? Am considering having this mobile option but would appreciate to know if it works on mac's or do i have to spend the rest of the weekend trying to figure this out. Regards, Michuki.

Yeah i am on 10.6 (snow leopard) works good for me. you need to get the updated mobile connect. I use the huawei ec226 . the huawei update software is here --- < http://www.huaweidevice.com/resource/mini/200910149695/testmobile1014/index.... .> download and run the first 2 softwares -- the first updates your modem and the second installs an updated 'mobile connect' software on your mac. connect the modem to your mac run the 1st software from that link -- it will prompt you for a location -- point it to the volume where the modem is mounted. use the mobile connect from the 2nd link.

@Ashok, welcome to Orange EVDO. I've been using it for months now and its been 98% stable. Orange Used to have unlimited broadband package a which u can top up with the 10K Turbo card per month. It has good speeds and does not have the fair usage policy like the new packages... or something like that. Supports 15 computers in the office comfortably. The only way you can get it is to buy the account from someone who already has it and wants to do away with it. It uses huwaei EC266 Modem but is RUIMLESS.
