To the best of my knowledge KRA doesn't care where the items were bought they use the same rate card based on a system called HS Code (Harmonized System). As a general and very rough guideline. Books, Software and Mobile fones - Duty Free Everything else anywhere from 15% - 45% depending on the item. Sorry can't be of much help than this but it depends on the items.
