It's only yesterday that I realized how useless these iPads can be! Ipad Air with 4G/Wi-Fi and the SIM card cannot be used for making GSM calls.. Acha tu. Sorry to the OP for hijacking his post. But I agree with you @washington that the limitations in the Apple ecosystem are difficult to live with, especially if you know what else is out there. I'm an android user, love my Nexus 6, however... that being said I do have an ipad, the battery life is ridiculous. I leave it on the table fully charged for 4 days, come back it's at 98%.
