Hey Skunks! I am contemplating purchasing an eBook reader here in Kenya. I honestly haven't done much research, but was wondering if anyone has advice on locations, dealers, brand availability. I am in Mombasa, and honestly, travelling to NRB is a less than desirable feat. And no, I do not want an Amazon Kindle, if it was even available. Have you considered j2me alternatives like read maniac. You just save your books as text and upload them to your phone, then you can read them anywhere. I saw either a pcpro or cnet article which claims that e book readers arent cheaper than books, in case that is your motivation. -- Are Capitalism and communism really different or just different forms of individualism. The Iphone ones are very small. I have a Sony Danielle Steel Digital Reader and I still love it but I can try to get you one. The Amazon kindle wireless technology is not availeable outside Europe and USA and so you wont be able to download books and newspapers On Mon, Jun 1, 2009 at 10:45 AM, Okechukwu <okechukwu@gmail.com> wrote:
