In year 2011, Kenya Revenue authority requires individuals to submit tax returns on-line. Please access the user guide for filing returns on-line http://www.revenue.go.ke/incometax/pdf/UserGuide_IT1.pdf https://mapato1.kra.go.ke/itms/ w/r Stephen N. _______________________________________________ Skunkworks mailing list Skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke http://lists.my.co.ke/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/skunkworks ------------ Skunkworks Rules http://my.co.ke/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=94 ------------ Other services @ http://my.co.ke

But then again, why do we have to wait until when the deadline nears.....? I did my returns online over a month ago; and realised that the online system has an embarrassing flaw : It does not cater for those who change employers in between the calendar years! I hear that the work-around is to file the returns from the first employer, then keep amending that for each subsequent employer. The idea being that KRA retains the original copies of any amended forms for their own scrutiny.

In the process of filling mine - its better than looking for those boxes at uchumi outlets..
