http://wiki.apnchanger.org/Kenya I'm not on an E160 modem though. If it may help, I've also attached a screenshot of my working configs (From a different Orange Branded Modem). In case you have multiple settings just cross check that you are not using other 'default' non-orange configs. Tony.

To rule out or confirm a provider-centric issue, how about trying other providers on the same modem? It's unlocked as you say.
