I agree with Peter. It is very very easy and very very basic to put MPesa rates on the Safaricom without forcing us to download a pdf? Wash, even if you can see no reason why this would be useful allow yourself to ponder that it could be useful for someone else. Peter gives one example. I am sitting at my desk and I want to send some money via MPesa. How do I know how much to add so they can withdraw the full amount? One way would be to post the information in an easily accessible format on their website. It is ridiculous to assume that every MPesa transaction occurs near one of their posters.
I have asked someone at Safaricom who referred me to someone else who pointed me to this: M-Pesa Tarrifs: 1. http://www.safaricom.co.ke/index.php?id=255 2. Look for "For the Full List of our M-PESA Tariff, please click on the link below". Click the hyperlink below it for the PDF!! Safaricom is now off the hook! Oh...kwani you are connected how...heh...haiya! OK...one more thing... Does "Withdraw cash by a non-registered M-PESA user" mean that that is the fee charged to someone on Orange or Zain once they receive pesa from an M-pesa user? or this is only for Safaricom to Safaricom M-pesa transactions... Njoki, The keyword is "unregistered". Network does not matter with that keyword. -- Best regards, Odhiambo WASHINGTON, Nairobi,KE +254733744121/+254722743223 _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Damn!!

Those are not the full rates? Just download the pdf and compare. Why are you still defending them. Do they pay your rent or something? On 14 December 2010 16:20, Odhiambo Washington <odhiambo@gmail.com> wrote:

You downloaded http://www.safaricom.co.ke/fileadmin/M-PESA/Documents/MPESA_TARRIF.pdf and still believe those are not the full rates or is it that you just did not read and understand the feedback I gave? Whether or not they pay my rent is subject for another day, but for now I'd like to request you to tell us what is missing from the PDF. I can ask them to update it with that which you see as missing. I don't work for safaricom but when something is right, it just is. PS: I know Safaricom had intended to increase the maximum limit on M-Pesa from 35k to either 50k or 70k. I don't quite recall the exact amount but that was one of the reasons they gave for the recent M-Pesa platform upgrade. Is that what you are after? Also note: Bonga redemption is not working, but I am not complaining. It's possible to even call the CEO if you want to address any issue. That is why he is CEO! -- Best regards, Odhiambo WASHINGTON, Nairobi,KE +254733744121/+254722743223 _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Damn!!

Better still, Twitter him, and you get an almost immediate response.
