I have raised this before about kenyan websites 1. Why dont people want to disclose who runs the company in the about us section? It this a kenyan culture? We are proud to put "our clients" but not "our management team or team profiles". 2. The use of stock photos. Some designers use free photos which maintain the security features and its very unsightly. Cant we create jobs for local photographers and pay for the photos?Better yet cant designers work with photographers to take actual photos of employees or the company at work? Here is my reasoning. If i put up my prices on the net, my competitor might see them and maybe charge slightly less than me, even if its by a few shillings, and thereby take away my potential customers Also, it makes the really interested buyer contact me in some way, either by sms, call or email and ask for the price, this point of contact later can be turned into an advantage, esp if its an email contact :-)
