The read-only attribute on a folder shouldn't prevent you from copying it. Files and folders on a CD-R are also read-only and it's possible to copy them. You could have access to view the top level folder. Could you please check that you have correct permission/ownership to view all the contents within the folder first, before you try copying it . Could really help with letting us know what that error message . Thanks Vincent
