Dear Admin Please give me rights to the test server and production server, why is it every time i want to test my code in the production environment i have to 1. look 4 you @SA, 2. I have to be added to a group of users with certain permissions 3. My password has to have characters and numbers 4. Why do i have to reset my password every now and then 5. And finally why do i have to BEG to get access to a folder All i want is to test and debug

You test all code on a "test environment with sample data" and debug, fix the bugs before begging us to let you put your code into "production"! We are anal about security, hence 2, 3 and 4. We just don't let every TDH access every folder available under the planet! That is security! If all you want is test and debug, do this on the testbench. Virtualize your own server instance and test, test, test. Only come to us with "tested" code. Aaah, my favourite answer, "ït works on my computer". And the reason this answer works, is because a lazy developer can say that the server is using a different version of x, y and z. But in real life, this has bit be badly in the rear a couple of times, especially when the server is on PHP 5.2 and my dev machine is on PHP 5.3, and the server cant be upgraded for reason a, b c! Or, you develop on a windows machine and deploy to a Linux server, and forget that file names are case sensitive on Linux and not on windows...
