Any one with Toshiba Tecra A8 recovery cd?Lost my CD and XP doesn't install at all...never goes past the 'Select partition(to format/delete/create' screen even with a cd having SATA drivers(added with nlite). Ubuntu installs fine but need a xp partition or Vista.Please help...

Hi Daniel Go to the BIOS of the laptop, search for something called SATA Native Mode and make sure its set to off. Windows XP should install fine. It should be on all laptops, ive seen it in all HP, Acer, Dell and Toshiba models with SATA hard disks.
