Depends on the DNS setup. Imagine a forwarder in NBI that can't reach ulaya. Or what if AK's DNS are at Mombasa? Remember safaricom was largely unaffected by this outage. People need to wake to how critical DNS is (the ones who don't) Guys know buzzwords like 'cloud' more than DNS:-). Odhiambo, verify if its dns by manually resolving the FQDN. A service like gtalk should be in the cache of the server. If you get a correect resolution the its a routing issue.
