Hi, Just to add, RapidSMS has already been deployed here in Kisumu by millenium villages project. There is also another project by UNICEF Somalia based in Nairobi that is being deployed on the RapidSMS. For those interested in its development or who want to try it out checkout http://rapidsms.org/wiki/InstallRapidSMS, get the code from http://github.com/unicefinnovation/rapidsms/tree/master.
