If as a president you cannot buy Kenya and promote the local brand, who will? We need to emulate the pride of Deutsches, who have the second biggest TLD in the world .de, rivalled only by .com. Surprisingly one of these presidential candidates spent a considerable amount of time in Deutscheland yet he has not borrowed those ideals and replicated them in Kenya. teamuhuru.co.ke is the only candidate who scores 100% on this metric. You will find that other than Martha Karua's site, .co.ke domains exist for the other sites, though it isn't clear if it is domain squatting (the Raila one is clear domain squatting). When choosing a domain name, it's often prudent to buy alternative spellings and also common misspellings. Good examples are gogle.com and facbook.com. Lets not kid ourselves..there is nothing sooooo kenyan about .co.ke .COM still is the prime domain and I would only opt for .CO.KE on unavailability. Online presence is purely business, no patriotism. Pathetic is a strong word to use and again when did .co.ke become a measure of patriotism? If my preferred .co.ke domain is hoarded by someone or opponent should a candidate go postal to get it or just buy a .com .net or whatever is available?
