Dear Paul, Thanks for sharing the info, however unfortunately I disagree with VC tabloid news and that a kenyan should be used ( or rather be a volunteered) to further and market the existence of VC funds to "kusaidia" Africa. So while I can totally cheer a kenyan athlete and find inspiration from them, I find it difficult to cheer such because it is no different than someone selling many APC UPS and getting an acknowledgement of the volumes achieved. It's nothing more than a marketing gimmick but for whom? I'd also like to thank you for keeping the channels open and I'll be posting a contribution soon. Hopefully it may raise the necessary questions and also provide a discussion to where we probabbly should be moving towards. Rgds. :-) Asante.

Well done, i guess it is such motivation that open up other streams that will place us at the right position and generate a self demand for creativity and improvement. There is a lot of untapped talent in technology in Kenya just like foot ball. may be its about time we start identifying and capturing such knowledge and nurturing the same to build a proper self reliance capacity within that the world will recognize. This i believe coupled with more energy in training on tech-preneurship will take us miles further. Oliver On Thu, May 26, 2011 at 9:48 AM, aki <aki275@gmail.com> wrote:
