I am no lawyer, but just because the shipping agent gives you a receipt with a KRA pin doesn't mean they paid the due duties. As an example, buy an item from Amazon, ship it via Posta so that you go collect from the "customs desk" at your Posta, then you will truly know what you were meant to pay to the sirkal. And no, if sh*t hits the fan, you cannot claim "oh I thought the charges from the shipping agent included all taxes...", nope.
