So been away on the road/air.....had un-subscribed from this list due to a number of issues related to annonyances and surfers, including the time wasting threads on ever getting skunks KE somewhere. I see not much has changed in that direction so I guess that's that. On a better note, I've been reading on the many things going on in the ICT sector and good stuff for those involved. Though I hold onto to my views that we have still not started off to getting somewhere in the dev sector, besides the SOS apps being churned out on the illusions of seed and VC funding ( READ : I cannot develop without funds or prizes, pay me to develop something that will send out an SMS from a gateway, I can call this app "a mobile app" ) , I think we are learning much faster that progress being made is not entirely that progressive. After reading the various articles, these are my impressions but I guess all the prizes and awards do help market KE as an agricultural destination, though somehow did we need prizes and funding to better the agricultural sector? Has dairy production or farm outputs increased? Has the welfare of the farmers and their families improved? Otherwise I hope skunks are doing well. Asanteni.
