Telkom Kenya is facing a suit for consumer misinformation http://www.standardmedia.co.ke/?articleID=2000072724&story_title=Kenya-Telko... -- Regards, Martin Gicheru Business Development Techweez Solutions

i find the suers abit petty, just like any competition/promotion, its good to call and ask for fine print.. i have known about the 20gb cap since the unlimited offer began at orange, by calling customer care... being an 'average user' we dont hit 10gb in a month, this includes streaming .. So cap and unlimited in the same sentence still means unlimited. The suers are right in the sense that their claim also involves the misinforming bit where the ISP promises unlimited which is limited by the cap you personally know about. So every Internet user should go calling to enquire: Hii unlimited ni ya aina gani?..IMO, Unlimited should be Unlimited. If they cant provide Unlimited then scrap they should just scrap that out. /*Stephen*/ On 12/13/2012 06:42 PM, ndungu stephen wrote:

To be honest even with a stringent FUP cap the internet is still unlimited. They do not shut you out of the internet. They just severely chop your speeds. The internet remains unlimited in as much as volume is concerned. On Thu, Dec 13, 2012 at 6:52 PM, Wanjau <wanjaustev@gmail.com> wrote:

I think their FUP of late has been Pretty restrictive, and at times it switches over bundles. Was at some Mobicom outlet and some customer was claiming their "unlimited" stopped working. They need to find a way to make it easier for customers to understand what they are buying.
