A Career in Information Risk Management ...... guidance

Hi Guys, I am considering building a career in IRM (Information Risk Management). Your could call it the 'not too technical side' of Information Security Management as it deals more with policy and procedure development and implementation. My question: What are some of the professional courses offered in the market that will prove relevant in this field? Thanks in advance, Wanjiru -- Believe: - To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe ----Anatole France

You will want to take the CISA training from ISACA. On top of that you can add CISM, CISSP etc Ikua On Sun, Oct 25, 2009 at 8:02 PM, Wanjiru Njoroge <wanjirunjoroge@gmail.com>wrote:

CISA is sufficient for this, needless to go CISSP as it is too technical and requires lots of background in tech, however you are free to do it. Start off with CISA On Sun, Oct 25, 2009 at 8:45 PM, Evans Ikua <ikua.evans@gmail.com> wrote:
