chmod 777 /path_to_my_script/

I really hope you are suggesting this as a way to testing if its permission issues you are encountering, I mean, this should only be executed and reversed within 30 minutes. If this is a long term solution, then you have a broken system and definitely doing something wrong. I would say solving problem by using 777 is a very bad practice in general. Actually, would be a good discussion of any case where 777 was a good solution Muriithi
