Hi, I have just tried a search for .co.ke domains on https://www.eac.eacdirectory.co.ke and it tells me all the suggested names are taken and there is an error connecting to the .ke registry due to fibre cuts. Somebody with info on this?
Hi Paul, YES connection between our system and Kenic's is ON and OFF. We advise that you query using the kenic WHOIS and then send us the email and we shall invoice / register the same for you This has affected the kenya domains only. Dear Kevin, Due to the current TEAMS fibre link cut, there has been some service degradation to/from the Internet and KENIC network. This is because our internet providers have been forced to rely on limited internet capacity on the Seacom fiber. This is affecting some registrars' systems which are hosted outside the country while connecting to our registry server. However, registrars hosting their systems locally are not affected.
