OpenStack meetup and birthday - July 18 iHub UX Lab
If anybody is interested in OpenStack (or wants to know more about it), come on down to the inaugural meetup at the iHub UX lab on July 18th: http://www.meetup.com/OpenStack-Nairobi Doors will open at 5:30 and we'll start the talk at 6. It's the 3rd birthday of OpenStack (announced at OSCON in Portland, Oregon in 2010) so we'll probably have some cake too :-) For those who don't know, OpenStack is set of packages to create a cloud computing infrastructure for virtual servers, block storage, object storage, etc... It is ideally situated in private enterprise data centers and is also well suited for Internet-based application hosting too.
